COST Workshop on Extending Working Life in Madrid

What challenges poses demographic ageing for the future of retirement in Spain and other developed countries? How much can and should working lives be extended, and what other policy responses should be adopted regarding pensions and employment?

To debate these timely questions, on Friday January 20th 2017, a local policy workshop will take place in Madrid in the framework of COST Action IS1409 on „Gender and Health Impacts of Policies Extending Working Life in Western Countries“. This one-day event is co-organized by COST, GEPS and Carlos III University (UC3M) under the title:

Extending Working Lives: Retirement and Pensions in Times of Demographic Ageing

The venue is UC3M’s Campus Madrid – Puerta de Toledo. Please find the agenda and further details HERE.

You are kindly invited to attend the workshop (free of charge). Registration is necessary as capacity is limited. Please register soon, writing an email to María José Gutiérrez (magutier@pa.uc3m.es) and Esperanza Castro (ecalonso@pa.uc3m.es).
